This camp acts like our Saturday Solo Butterfly Program. This camp offers children a chance to learn Mandarin through structured circle story time and through unstructured free play time. The camps will focus on children's social well being with peers while offering them the opportunity to learn local flora and fauna. We will meet, hike, chat, play, draw/write etc. We spent each day immersed in the natural world exploring creeks, ponds, meadows, forests and the beach.  Camps are personalized to the interests and skill level of each campers.

Taught by Teacher Nancy and Counselor Cindy.  Activities are mostly instructed in Mandarin. Our counselor Cindy will communicate with campers in both Mandarin and English as needed. Please make sure your children are comfortable with the Mandarin Immersive Environment before signing up.

• Dates:  Feb 17-21

• Time: Monday-Friday 9:30am-3pm

• Location: Drop-off and Pick-up will be at local preserves within 15-25 minutes of Downtown Menlo Park. We plan to visit 4-5 different locations each week.

• Ratio: Maximum 12 campers per week. 

• Tuition: $545/week

• Discounts: We offer a variety of discounts. 1. Early Registration Discount: 10%.  This discount is for returning campers ONLY! The registration must be done by Dec 1, 2024 to enjoy the discount. 2. Sibling Discount: 10%. This is for the family who has a 2nd child joining and enjoys the discount for 2nd child with 1st child's registration.  3. Referral Discount for New Families: 5%.  A child who was referred by a current club member will get a 5% discount. 

• Cancellation Policy: A full refund will be issued for cancellations made before December 31, 2024. For cancellations made before January 31, 2025, a 50% refund will be provided. A non-refundable deposit of $100 per camper is required to hold your spot.

This summer camp acts like our usual Butterfly Parents Escorted Outing group setting, and allow families who have joined us before to have a taste of what our outings look like. 

This camp offers parents to an opportunity to spend with their little ones a peaceful and joyful time in nature. Parents will get opportunities to talk through their parenting confusions, learn some parenting ground rules and other skills. The nature preserve will also act like our classroom in which we learn from nature, including nature awareness, safety rules, identify potential hazards and poisonous plants, or simply breathe fresh air, get some sunshine, observe nature, find our purpose and place etc.

• Taught by Teacher Nancy. This camp is for families with 0-5 yrs old kids who are interested in spending time in nature.

• Time: Monday-Friday from 9:30am-1:00pm

• Location:  The parks we plan to visit will be at local preserves within 15-25 minutes of Downtown Menlo Park, except Half Moon Bay State Beach. We plan to visit 4-5 parks during our camp.

• Maximum 8 families per week. 

• Tuition: $375/week. The tuition is charged per kid. For kids who are less than 2 year old can attend free of charge with siblings' participation. Kids who are more than 2 year old enjoy a sibling discount with one sibling's participation.

This summer camp acts like our usual Butterfly Forest School Parents Coop setting, and allow families who are outside of our school have a taste of what forest school looks like. Parents will take turns to be the "Stay-Day Parents", aka "Mama Teacher". This Stay-Day participation role is an assisting position to the mentor. It is a chance for parents to witness the bold and exciting learning journey of their own children, and the rest of the class as well. In Day 5, all parents will participate to have fun in the Half Moon Bay beach.
